CAMP DISCOVERY
ITS THE SUMMER TO DISCOVER...
Summer Camp at the Hazleton YWCA provides supervised activities that teach core values and leadership skills. Kids have fun while they build confidence, appreciate team work and gain independence. Camp Discovery activities allow kids to create arts and crafts, climb the rock wall, swim, participate in field trips, appreciate nature and better understand our many cultures. Weekly field trips include state parks, movies, roller skating and more.
  • Camp Fee
    $115 a week between the hours of 9am and 4pm
 Before care - $15 weekly from 7:00am to 9:00am
 Extended care-$10 weekly from 4pm to 5:30pm
  • Guidelines
     Each participant needs a Hazleton YWCA membership. There is an option to purchase a special $25 Camp Membership Each participant must have completed kindergarten. Everyone is welcomed. Scholarship applications are available at the Front Desk If your child is currently enrolled in the Before and After School program, Coordinated Child Care must be notified at 1-800-922-6264. Before and After Care participants must register and will be required to fill out camp packets.

    We are Family, Great Outdoors, Time Travelers, Stars and Stripes, Super Heroes, Under the Sea, Game Show Mania, Olympics, Camp Memories, and Carnival Craze.
To enroll in camp ALL children must register by completing camp paperwork AND pay a Registration Fee. Families receiving subsidized funding must still pay the registration fee
